Bahrain-UK judicial cooperation discussed

Manama, Oct. 28 (BNA): President of the Supreme Judicial Council and President of the Court of Cassation Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kawari received here today the Deputy UK Ambassador to Bahrain Ali Maqbool. They affirmed the need for more cooperation between the Supreme Judicial Council and the United King regarding the justice of the future. They also discussed the standards for choosing and training judges, and the Secretariat-General's judicial and legal needs. Al-Kawari affirmed the depth of the outstanding Bahraini-UK relations in all fields. Maqbool was informed about the achievements of the Supreme Judicial Council in 2014, particularly the Judicial Branch's Strategy 2020.
