Bahrain to host 2nd Power Management Conference

Manama, Oct.25 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received the organising committee of the Second Power Management Conference and Exhibition, set to be held in Bahrain on December 6 - 8. The meeting was attended by National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) Strategies and Planning General Manager Ali Jaber Al-Sawad and committee Chairman, Masoud Al Hermi. The minister welcomed the officials and praised the historical relations and the close fraternal ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, stressed the strong ties bonding Saudi Aramco and the oil sector Bahrain. He underlined the role Saudi Aramco in supporting events, conferences and exhibitions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Mirza said the the conference is a milestone in the history of a series of oil and gas exhibitions in Bahrain. He pointed out that Sameera Al Qattan, from the Ministry of Finance, has become the first woman to head the Sponsorship and Exhibitions Committee which, said, represents another milestone for Bahraini women. He urged all companies falling affiliated with NOGA to take part and ensure the success of the upcoming three-day conference and exhibition. Al Hermi gave a detailed presentation on the conference and exhibition as well as the associated events. He shed light on the theme of the conference, participants, sponsors and the exhibitors as well as logistics and media coverage.
