GPIC delegation visits PIC

Kuwait, Oct. 24 (BNA): A delegation from the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), led by its General Manager (Manufacturing) Fadhel Al Ansari visited the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait. The delegation, which was welcomed by senior PIC officials, conveyed the greetings of GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery and the Management. The two sides stressed on the importance of such visits for the exchange of views and experiences as well as opportunities to get to know about the nature of work of these Companies. The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination between the two Companies in applying best practices to create a sound working environment that complies with laws, regulations and rules in order to achieve the highest level of professionalism. The two sides reiterated the importance of communication and continuous cooperation to promote common interests and work to achieve best practices that will raise productivity and increase job satisfaction. In a statement, GPIC President Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery thanked PIC officials for the welcome and the hospitality and acknowledged the positive results of visit. Dr. Jawahery said GPIC is keen to provide all support to the Company to further improve employment conditions on the basis of competitiveness and equal opportunity. Chief Internal Auditor Mr. Omar Al Bastaki and Legal Adviser Ms. Noora Al Sheryan accompanied Mr. Ansari. The GPIC’s code of conduct is based on ethical standards, professional values and culture among Company employees. The Company is working to strengthen commitment to these standards, norms and values, as well as the foundations of good practices by educating staff.
