Bridge Industrial Services Company congratulated on GCC honour

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has congratulated the Bridge Industrial Services (BIS) Company following its honouring during the opening ceremony of the 32nd session of the GCC Labour Ministers’ Council, held recently in Doha under the patronage of the Qatari Prime Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. BIS was honoured as the best small enterprise in the kingdom. The company was established in 1967, and since then it has focused its efforts on creating job opportunities for national competencies. The minister lauded the progress made by BIS over the past years, noting that the honouring will stimulated entrepreneurs in Bahrain to exert more efforts and provide the best services and products in accordance with the requirements of the labour market. He asserted that small and medium-sized enterprise are allocated special importance in GCC countries, in general, and Bahrain, in particular, given their pivotal role in boosting investment and generating job opportunities.
