QQA's cooperation with international educational institutions discussed

Manama, Oct. 22 (BNA): Chief Executive of the National Authority for Qualifications & Quality Assurance of Education & Training (QQA) Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki has stressed the importance of the exchange of experience and information among international institutions involved in quality assurance and qualifications frameworks as a means of enriching the Bahrain’s experience to get acquainted with the latest developments in this area and spread the culture of quality assurance This came as the QQA CE received the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dato’ Ahmed Shahizan Abdul Samad, to discuss aspects of cooperation between the Authority and the Malaysian institutions involved in education and training sector as well as the relevant stakeholders in the field of quality assurance and national qualifications frameworks. Dr. Al Mudhahki said that this visit comes as part of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of quality assurance and qualifications and aims to exchange experience in the field of quality assurance, as well as to carry out joint projects that are beneficial to both parties. On his part, H.E. the Ambassador praised the QQA efforts in the area of quality assurance and the development of the education and training sector in the Kingdom, and commended the Authority’s milestones since its establishment.
