Bahrain participates in IPU committee meeting

Geneva, Oct 19 (BNA): First Deputy Shura Chairman Jamal Fakhro and MP Isa Al-Kohaji have participated in the meeting of the IPU Second Standing Committee on Sustainable Development, Finance and Trade. The meeting discussed the parliamentary role at the UN Conference on Climate Change to be held in December 2015. It also discussed ensuring permanent protection against the destruction of cultural heritage. Information was also shared about the approaches of the IPU member parliaments.
