HM the King meets HRH Premier

Manama, Oct. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today met His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at the Gudaibiya Palace. HM King Hamad and HRH the Prime Minister reviewed the requirements ahead, especially regarding development and growth in various fields, and ways to consolidate them through government-parliament cooperation and coordination in order to speed up efforts to bring about more achievements that serve the citizens and boost the nation-building progress. HM King Hamad affirmed that national action and development projects will continue in all sectors that serve the homeland and the citizens. HM the King and HRH Premier also reviewed a number of domestic issues aiming to enhance the national action, boost the national economy and achieve the goals and essential pillars of comprehensive development and ensure more national accomplishments and gains for the kingdom and its people. HM King Hamad lauded the dedication of the Bahraini citizens in serving their nation and keenness to elevate its status in various fields and at all levels, stressing that the strength of the nation stems from all its citizens' love for wellbeing, peace, cohesion and solidarity within the deep-rooted one-family spirit that brings them together. HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for their tireless efforts to develop government work, follow-up on the implementation of government programmes, and their keenness to improve the quality of services in all sectors. HM the King also thanked all members of the cabinet for their dedication in serving the kingdom and its people. HM King Hamad and HRH the Prime Minister discussed the latest regional and international developments, emphasising the importance of enhancing solidarity and coordinating stances amid the serious security and economic challenges currently facing the region. HRH Premier asserted that during HM King Hamad's prosperous era, the kingdom has accomplished numerous achievements of which everyone has to be proud. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed the government's determination to do its utmost to achieve the aspirations of HM the King and the Bahraini people regarding development and growth in various fields, especially following the kingdom's success in overcoming the serious threats and plots targeting it with patience and wisdom, thanks to the efforts of its loyal citizens.
