PM, GCC Secretary-General discuss future cooperation
SANA'A, Dec. 31 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar discussed on
Wednesday with the Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council
(GCC) Abdulrahman al-Attiyah future cooperation between Yemen and
GCC.
Mujawar and al-Attiyah highlighted the decision of GCC's 29th round
concluded Tuesday in Muscat, Omani Capital, on joining Yemen to four
new GCC organizations.
The Premier renewed his satisfaction of the decision, valuing the
role the GCC Secretariat General plays to assist joining Yemen to
the council that will enhance the regional cooperation between the
Arab Peninsulas States.
The GCC official said that the decision would serve the trends of
integration in economic and cultural fields, noting that the GCC
states' leaders are keen on reinforcing bilateral relations with
Yemen.
