Sana`a governor meets Bani Dhabyan sheikhs over Kidnapping acts

SANA'A, Dec. 31 (Saba)- Governor of Sana'a Noman Dowid held a
meeting with the local council, sheikhs and social figures of Bani
Dhabyan district of Sana'a governorate over negative impacts of
kidnapping acts.

The meeting affirmed importance of gathering efforts
of all in the district to face those elements that do such criminal
act in the district.The meeting urged all to help authorities to
bring these elements to justice.

The governor also affirmed concern of the government to response to
the development needs in the district within its annual development
plans as well as tackle problems facing services projects in the
district especially road and electricity projects.

He also insisted on gathering official and popular effort to enhance
security and stability and stand against acts which damage
reputation of Bani Dhabyan citizens and Yemenis in general such as
kidnapping.

The government would deal hard against these act and
people involving in them.

In the meeting, the sheikhs handed over a statement in which they
condemned such actions which damaged reputation of the nation.

They confirmed their support for the political leadership
represented by the president Ali Abdullah Saleh, the government and
leadership of the governorate to protect security and stability of
the nation.
