Crown Prince receives American Academy of Diplomacy President

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the President of the American Academy of Diplomacy and former Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ronald E. Neumann, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted that ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US has helped to support efforts to confront terrorism and extremist ideologies in the region, as well as preserving international peace and security. His Royal Highness then praised Neumann’s wide-ranging diplomatic experience, highlighting Mr Neumann’s previous role as Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as his important contributions to US-Bahraini relations. For his part, Neumann expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness.
