Minister congratulates HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad on winning world title

Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King's Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), on the latest achievement by Bahrain's IronMan Elite13 team winning the world championship's title in Hawaii. The minister affirmed the accomplishment comes in harmony with the huge support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Bahraini sport activities in general and the Triathlon sport in particular which culminated in spectacular accomplishments in the previous years. Al Jowder said since the launching by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad of the team, numerous great feats have been accomplished by the team members at various levels who inscribed the Kingdom's name in golden letters at international functions. The latest accomplishment comes as a result of proper planning and clear-cut objectives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa aimed to place Bahrain on the world map of triathlon sports, lauding the dazzling standard attained by Bahrain's Elite13 Team and wishing them more success in upcoming championships.
