Japanese PM to visit S. Korea next month for summit
SEOUL, Dec. 31 (Yonhap) -- Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso will arrive in Seoul on Jan. 11 for a two-day trip to hold a summit with his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-bak, Seoul's top diplomat said Wednesday.
"Prime Minister Aso will arrive in South Korea around noon on Jan. 11 and leave
the country around noon on Jan. 12," Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan said in a
press briefing.
During his stay, Aso will hold a summit with Lee, followed by a joint press
conference and meetings with business leaders, the minister added.
