Samsung C&T wins 1.38 tln won construction order from UAE

SEOUL, Dec. 31 (Yonhap) -- Samsung C&T Corp., South Korea's second-largest builder, said Wednesday it has received a 1.38 trillion won (US$1.04 billion) construction order from the United Arab Emirates.

The deal with Dubai-based real estate developer Nakheel calls on Samsung C&T to
build apartments, shopping malls and other commercial structures in Dubai by Oct.
31, 2013, the company said in a regulatory filing.
