HM the King meets HRH Premier, HRH Crown Prince

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at Al-Sakhir Palace today. A number of local issues, and the requirements of the current phase of national work regarding the adoption of plans and programmes that support and revitalise the national economy for the benefit of the nation and the citizens were reviewed. HM the King stressed the kingdom's constant keenness to take all necessary measures to boost the national economy. The meeting also reviewed the new tasks entrusted to the reshuffled cabinet in order to achieve the economic and development goals in the coming period, maintain the interests of the nation and the citizens and ensure the sustainability of government action in all fields. HM King Hamad underscored the importance of preserving the nation's achievements and gains, lauding the Bahraini citizens' dedication at all work and production sites, and support for the comprehensive development march in various fields for the best interests of the kingdom and its future generations. HM the King expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince for their constant keenness on following up on the government's work.
