Yemen did excellent steps to attract investments, says Malaysian official

SANA'A, Dec. 30 (Saba) - Yemen has done several excellent steps during few years ago, which attracted Malaysian investors, Marketing Manager of Malaysian Commercial Chambers Union Fawziah bin Elas said.

She highlighted the security and resolving borders dispute with neighboring
countries, reforming financial and demonstrative system in the country.

In her statement to Saba, bin Elas said that the Malaysian companies and investors
concern with Yemen because it has non-used sectors such as minerals.

She added that the preparations for joining Yemen to the Gulf Cooperation Council
would create Yemeni-Gulf partnership, highlighting the strategic location of Yemen
as it is considered as door for Malaysian goods to Arab and African countries.

She pointed out to the active participation of the Malaysian businessmen in
conference - was held in Hadramout recently, saying that twenty Malaysian
businessmen have already companies in partnership with Yemenis in the country.
