HRH Premier congratulated by Shura Council chairman

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh has extended sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on being granted the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) during a special ceremony held at the UN headquarters in New York. Al-Saleh said that the prestigious ITU Award embodies HRH the Prime Minister’s rich record of milestone achievements that prove his landmark contributions to Bahrain's sustainable development on the local and international levels and its remarkable progress in the area of ICT development. He highlighted the kingdom’s leading status and global reputation thanks to HRH Premier's contributions aimed at taking advantage of ICT in sustainable development.
