HM King receives HRH Premier, in presence of HRH Crown Prince

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. HM the King congratulated HRH the Prime Minister on the "Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development" Award conferred on him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). HM King Hamad lauded HRH Premier's role and efforts in supporting and achieving the sustainable development goals at the local and international levels. HM the King praised the landmark achievements of the government, under HRH Premier's leadership, in the field of information and communication technology, its use of modern technology to serve sustainable development plans and strategies in all sectors in the kingdom, and tremendous efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the Bahraini people for more progress, prosperity and quality services. HM King Hamad and HRH the Prime Minister discussed the current situation in brotherly Yemen, and the role of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy and stability there.
