Tribute to HRH the Premier on ITU Award

Manama, Sep.28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Muharraq Society for the Elderly Chairman Mohammed Al-Mutawa on being granted the Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The award was presented to Bahrain delegation attending a ceremony which was held at the United Nations (UN) headquarters to mark the ITU 150th anniversary. On behalf of a group of Muharraq residents, Al-Mutawa extended congratulations to HRH the Premier, describing the award as a global recognition of his crucial role in supporting sustainable development goals on the local and international levels. He announced that a ceremony would be held in Busaiteen, Muharraq, to celebrate the prestigious ITU award, which was bestowed on HRH the Premier in recognition of his dedicated efforts which ranked Bahrain among advanced countries.
