Iraq Agrees With Russia, Iran and Syria To Help And Participate In Collecting Info. on ISIS
BAGHDAD / NINA / The Joint Operations Command announced the agreement with Russia, Iran and Syria to help and participate in collecting information on the terrorist organization Daash, confirming the formation of several intelligence cooperation cells to fight Daash with a number of countries. "
According to a statement of leadership of JOC said today, "Iraq formed, over the past months, several committees for cooperation in the security and intelligence fields with countries expressed their willingness to cooperate with Iraq in the fight against terrorism and fear expanding of terrorist Daash gangs."
The statement added "this collaboration is with individual countries and with combined countries in other times, and there is intelligence and military security cooperation with the international coalition, which includes 60 countries stand with Iraq in the fight against Daash, as well as security cooperation and intelligence with individual countries, including Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Germany and France, which are interested in cooperation with Iraq in the intelligence and security field to face Daash and its threat to these countries and the whole region. "
It explained, "It was also agreed on a security intelligence co-operation in Baghdad, with Russia, Iran and Syria to help and participate in collecting information on the ISIS organization and its extensions, especially with the growing of Russian concern about the presence of thousands of terrorists from Russia who are doing criminal acts with Daash".
He pointed out that "Iraq is involved in this field with representatives of military intelligence, where Iraq confirms its seeking to take advantage of all these efforts to detect clues of terrorism, which extends in several countries, and to achieve Iraq's interest and protect its citizens and non-aligned to the interests of others and their struggles at the expense of the interests of Iraqi people." / end
