Bahrain to participate in Moscow's Grand Mosque inauguration

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Tasked by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, a delegation from the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (SCIA) headed by SCIA's Chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa left the Kingdom to participate in the inauguration of the Grand Mosque in the Russian capital, Moscow, in response to the official invitation of Russian Muftis Shura Council's chairman the chairman of religious department for Muslims in the Russian Federation Republic. The Bahraini delegation accompanying SCIA Chairman includes both Council members Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri and Sheikh Dr. Suleiman bin Al Sheikh Mansour Al Sitri, SCIA Chairman's office director Mohammed Jalal Abdullah and media specialist Ahmed Hamada. The mosque will be inaugurated on Wednesday to coincide with the Day of Mount Arafat Standing, in the presence of delegations from all over the world, including several heads of states.
