Labour Minister receives Philippines Ambassador

Manama, Sept. 21 (BNA): Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received the Ambassador of Philippines Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Alfonso Fernandez A. Ver. The minister praised the level of bilateral coordination and cooperation ties, especially in the field of labour market development. He also praised the Filipino workers contribution to the Kingdom's development, lauding the positive stances of the Philippines government in support the Kingdom of Bahrain international functions, wishing the newly-appointed ambassador success in his duties. The ambassador praised the bilateral ties between his country and the Kingdom of Bahrain, citing Bahrain's prestigious international position in view of its advancement in all fields in the reform era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, particularly labour reforms. He also lauded the protection and serenity atmospheres enjoyed by Filipino workforce in the Kingdom.
