TRA holds quarterly staff forum

Manama, Sept. 20 (BNA): Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) held a Quarterly Staff Forum at their headquarters in Seef District on Thursday the 10th of September, 2015. The Forum was attended by General Director of TRA, Mohamed Bubashait, as well as executive management and TRA staff. Members of staff representing each directorate of the TRA openly discussed the progress of ongoing projects and shared in the year’s achievements and successes with respect to each directorate’s efforts. The main focus of this year’s forum was the importance of collective teamwork, transparency and highlighting the efforts required towards organisational culture transformation. Commenting on the forum, TRA Director of Human Resources and Finance, Faisal Al Jalahma stated that "The Staff Forum is held every quarter with the goal of providing an avenue of open, constructive communication and relationship building across all TRA members with their General Director where dialogue is constructed to the benefit of improving the performance of the organisation and the workplace." Al Jalahma continued "TRA recognises the value of its staff, and the forum is an opportunity to address concerns, laud exceptional achievers, and strengthen personal and professional bonds. We use many tools for intra-organizational communication, and events such as this are key to maintaining and improving a healthy work environment."
