HRH Premier issues edict 51/2015

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today issued Edict 57/2015, amending Article One of Edict 51/2007 on the establishment of the Joint Committee on Climate Change. The panel will be chaired by the CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment, and its members include the Economic Research Director at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), Industrial Security and Safety Director at the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), the Privatisation and Outsourcing Director at the Finance Ministry and Environmental Planning and Policies at the Supreme Council for Environment. Director of Industrial Zones at the Industry and Commerce Ministry, Director of Standardisation and Metrology at the Industry and Commerce Ministry, Director of Air Navigation at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, Director of International Organisations at the Foreign Ministry and a representative of the Economic Development Board (EDB) will also be members of the panel.
