280,488 people entered Bahrain from September 10 to 16

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 280,488 people had entered Bahrain between September 10 and 16 . He added that 231,584 people arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries via King Fahad Causeway, 48,318 through Bahrain International Airport and 586 through ports. The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used ever since by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
