HRH Premier's Court president receives BMS chairman

Manama, Sept. 16 (BNA): President of HRH Premier's Court Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received here today the Chairman of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) Dr. Mohammed Abdulla Rafea, and reviewed with him efforts to upgrade the medical and health services provided for the citizens and residents. Shaikh Hussam affirmed the constant keenness of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, on supporting medical staff and encouraging them to improve the medical profession, lauding BMS' efforts in this regard. He was briefed about BMS' vision and programmes aiming to develop the medical and health system in the kingdom through providing a suitable environment for the national medical competencies according to the highest world standards. BMS Chairman lauded HRH Premier support to the affiliates of the medical sector in the kingdom, and his constant keenness on listening to their visions and suggestions on ways to boost the health sector. He praised the steady progress of the medical sector in the kingdom thanks to the efforts exerted by the government to improve health services, upgrade the level of health facilities and provide the necessary human and material resources.
