Former Arab League Secretary General visits Bahrain

Cairo, Sept. 15 (BNA): Former Arab League Secretary General Amrou Mousa will pay a visit to Bahrain to take part in the functions of Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work. Middle East News Agency reported that Amrou Mousa had left Cairo for Bahrain to take part in the function. The former Arab League Secretary General was chosen unanimously as the personality of the year for voluntary work in Egypt given his long history in serving the Egyptian community and his efforts as Head of the committee in charge of compiling the Egyptian constitution. The Egyptian Association for Voluntary Work is participating for the sixth consecutive year in the functions of Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work. The association affirmed that nominating the former Arab League Secretary General for the honour was strongly accepted by the Arab organisations due to the long history he has in Arab work.
