HRH Premier receives senior state officials

Manama, Sept. 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today a number of senior state officials, and reviewed with them a number of local issues. HRH the Prime Minister praised the crucial role played by family companies in spurring trade and economy in the kingdom, noting that they are among the main engines of the national economy. The Kingdom of Bahrain boasts of a private sector that is keen on accelerating the pace of economic growth, he said, stressing that it has always supported the government since the kingdom's development march was first launched until now, which, he noted, proves its desire to contribute effectively to the national march. HRH Premier praised the contributions of the national work pioneers to the kingdom's progress march, stressing the importance of documenting the achievements and contributions of those who did their utmost to support the government's efforts to enhance the country's development. He underlined the government's interest in commemorating the achievements of national work pioneers by naming main streets and facilities after them. Reviewing the latest regional and global issues with the audience, HRH Premier asserted that the regional developments and their consequences, including the displacement of peoples, will not be addressed unless a drastic solution to the original problems that caused them is worked out.
