SCW secretary-general receives ambassador

Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala Al-Ansari received here today the newly-appointed Bahraini Ambassador to Belgium Dr. Bahiya Al-Jishi. Al-Ansari conveyed congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), to Dr. Al-Jishi following the issuance of the Royal Order appointing her as the kingdom's plenipotentiary Ambassador to Belgium, and wishes of every success for her. The SCW secretary-general lauded Dr. Al-Jishi's competence and rich experience, describing her as an honourable example of the Bahraini women who, she, said have outstanding capability to assume any responsibilities. She expressed confidence in Dr. Al-Jishi's ability to contribute effectively to consolidating the kingdom's diplomacy aimed to build strong relations with various countries on the bases of mutual respect and joint cooperation. The ambassador extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HRH Princess Sabeeka for her constant support to Bahraini women and keenness on enhancing their status. She voiced pride in HRH Princess Sabeeka's dedicated efforts to advance Bahraini women.
