HH Deputy Premier receives IPI director

Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received the International Peace Institute (IPI)'s Director, Terry Rod-Larsen. His Highness praised the Institutes's role in spreading the culture of peace and security in the world, citing the Kingdom of Bahrain's hosting the regional office of IPI in the Middle East emanating from the belief in the essential boosting of the culture of peace and promoting it in the region and throughout the world which currently faces huge challenges that could destabilize the security and stability of the region, affirming Bahrain's commitment to supporting peace in the region and throughout the globe. Terry Rod-Larsen thanked His Highness welcoming reception of him and appreciated the effective role of Bahrain in terms of embracing the International Peace Institute in the Middle East region, lauding the Kingdom's constant efforts to maintain security and stability and spread the culture of peace and lauding the atmospheres of co-existence, tolerance and freedoms of religions in Bahrain thanks to the reforms of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
