Foreign Minister Meets His Saudi Counterpart In Cairo

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Adel al-Jubeir developments in the region. A statement for the Saudi Foreign Ministry said "al-Jaafari and Al-Jubeir met on the sidelines of the meetings of Arab foreign ministers in Cairo and also discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, as well as topics on the agenda of the Arab League's meetings. The statement noted that "the meeting between al-Jaafari and Al-Jubeir was also attended by the Chairman of the Saudi media department at the Foreign Ministry, and Ambassador Osama Naqli. Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari flew to Cairo yesterday to attend the Ministerial Council of the Arab League's meetings.
