Deputy Premier highlights promoting religious, humanitarian initiatives

Manama, Sep 13 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has underlined the importance of initiatives aimed at promoting and disseminating religious, humanitarian and social values among the youth. Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Honorary President of Bahrain Parents Care Society Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa in bolstering religious and humanitarian values in the society through the (Loyalty to the Dedicated People Award) and other initiatives that stimulate the dissemination of the culture of dedication to parents, society and homeland. That came as Deputy Prime Minister today attended the honoring ceremony of Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Award for Loyalty to the Dedicated People. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in his speech, said that honoring the dedicated people is a principle he has learnt from his grandfather, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who has supported and praised all those who have sincerely served the nation. He added that he has the honour to follow the steps of HRH Prime Minster in serving the Islam and homeland. He expressed appreciation of the directives of his father Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who attended the event, which accentuates his interest in supporting social work and values of compassion. He noted that the elderly are a source of inspiration, dedication and moral values, as well as an expertise that assist young generation in building bright and strong future. Bahrain Parents Care Society Chairman Ahmed Al-Mulla, in his speech, extended utmost thanks to Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for his efforts in the voluntary work. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, at the end of event, honored the winners of the award.
