Commander-in-Chief visits BDF units

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units. The commander-in-chief was briefed about the units' work progress, and was informed about their development plans, technical systems, equipment and military preparedness. He lauded the units' development and modernisation plans, as well as training programmes. He said that BDF would carry on its plans to upgrade the level of its affiliates in accordance with the latest military and combat systems so as to enable them to perform their duties in the best way. He expressed sincere appreciation to BDF affiliates for their dedication, and keenness to assume their national duties in the best way round the clock. He called on all BDF affiliates to double efforts in serving the homeland, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander. Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and Inspector-General Major General Abdulla Hassan Al Nuaimi were also present.
