Iranian explosives seized enough to obliterate Manama

, Sept. 10 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said the quantity of explosives seized last July during an attempt to smuggle them into Bahrain on boats from Iran was sufficient to obliterate Manama from existence.
Shaikh Khalid added that Tehran's joining the regional setup will be in the interest of Gulf countries should Iran comply with the principle of good neighborliness, refrain from interference in the internal affairs of other countries and relinquish deceptive dualism between language and actions. He asserted the need for Iran to revise its policy, keep its hands off Arab Shias and citizens in general and give up its sectarian discrimination policy.
The minister told the London-based Sharq Al-Awsat that Iran's nuclear deal with western powers does not address all sources of tension, adding that if Iran continues the same policy, the Gulf region will not benefit anything from that deal in terms of security and stability in the region.
He stressed that Iranian officials should heed two important things - an honest compliance with the agreement and mending relations with their neighbours.
