274,421 people entered Bahrain on September 3-9

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 274,421 people had entered Bahrain between September 3 and 9. He added that 215,646 people arrived from Saudi Arabia and other GCC States via King Fahad Causeway, 58,542 through Bahrain International Airport and 233 through ports. The 25-kilometre long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used ever since by millions of travelers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
