Raphael Sako: Defeating Terrorism Requires Genuine National Reconciliation

He told the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA / after attending a conference of minorities, which was held in Paris: "Peace requires constitution's reform to include all components of the society, without tribal or sectarian or religious or ideological logic, and this requires all citizens to be equal and prevent forms of discrimination in community." He added: " The government's team should adopt efficient and depend on it, and there should be separation between religion and state." He said: "The religion should be a source of hope and contributes in the development and stability of society and not in hatred and division as it is to use in sectarian and political interests." He stressed: "The Christians and Muslims must work together to build a better future for all."
