Tribute to Bahraini, Saudi, Emirati martyrs

Cairo, Sept. 9 (BNA): The Arab League today paid homage to Bahraini, Saudi and Emirati soldiers who died in the line of duty as part of the Riyadh-led Saudi Arab Coalition defending the legitimate government in Yemen. Delegates of Arab countries observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the fallen martyrs of duty as they attended the 144 ordinary session, chaired by the United Arab Emirates. Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi attended the session convened to discuss the agenda of the Arab foreign ministers’ meeting, scheduled to be held on Sunday. UAE Ambassador to Egypt, Permanent Representative to the Arab-League Mohammed bin Nakhira Al-Dhaheri addressed the session and mourned the Bahraini, Saudi and Emirati soldiers, describing them as a source of pride and symbol of honour as they sacrificed their lives while confronting the aggression on Yemen and its people.
