Deputy King visits Bahrain’s Royal Guard Headquarters

Manama, Sept. 9 (BNA): Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, this afternoon met the Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Forces, His Highness Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, while visiting the Royal Guard headquarters. During the visit, the Deputy King praised the spirit and motivation of the Bahraini soldiers who are participating in the Saudi-led coalition forces’ "Operation Restoring Hope". His Royal Highness noted the Operation’s crucial role in providing security and stability in Yemen and to its citizens. His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of encouraging and supporting the brave Bahraini soldiers who carry out their duties with the utmost efficiency and dedication, in line with the directives of His Majesty the King. His Royal Highness then praised the important role played by the Commander of the Royal Guard and the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Forces in supporting the Royal Guard during this critical period. His Royal Highness went on to highlight that the Kingdom of Bahrain will be always grateful and never forget those who tragically lost their lives whilst protecting the security and stability of the region. His Royal Highness also praised the bravery and commitment of the soldiers who have been injured in the line of duty. His Royal Highness wished the Bahraini forces participating in Operation Restoring Hope further success, and commended their contributions and abilities to restore security and stability in Yemen. For their part, the Commander of the Royal Guard and the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Forces expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness on behalf of the Royal Guard, for his continuous support.
