Muharraq governor receives Schiltigheim mayor

Manama, Sept. 9 (BNA): Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mennai has affirmed the deep-rooted Bahraini-French relations. This came as the governor received the Mayor of the French city of Schiltigheim Jean-Marie Kutner, currently on a visit to Bahrain. The governor highlighted the advanced level of bilateral relations on all levels, promoted by the exchange of visits between His Majesty the King and the French President. Schiltigheim Mayor expressed his delight at visiting Bahrain and discussing the promotion of joint investments. He extended and invitation to the governor to visit Schiltigheim and sign a twinning agreement between Muharraq and Schiltigheim , given Muharraq's significant historical, economic and heritage value. The governor accepted the invitation, affirming the importance of twinning agreements with friendly countries like France, and their positive impact on the services offered to the citizens.
