Yemeni authorities file case of Somali pirates
SANA'A, Dec. 29 (Saba) - An official source in the Yemeni Coastguards Authorities said on Monday that Somali pirates handed over by Indian navy to Yemen lately will be referred to prosecutor after interrogations with them have been completed .
The source was quoted by the state run 26 sep.net as saying that the Somali pirates
have involved in many piracy acts in the Gulf of Aden.
According to the investigations, Yemeni fishermen handed over also by Indian navy to
Yemen, were released by the authorities later.
The official added that the Somali pirates had captured the Yemeni fishermen on 13
December in the Gulf of Aden and used them as human shields.
