Iraqi Airways Gets US Loan For The Purchase Of Modern Aircraft

BAGHDAD / NINA/ Transport Minister Baqir al-Zubaidi announced that the Iraqi Airways got US loan of two billion dollars for the purchase of modern aircraft. A statement of the Ministry quoted al-Zubaidi as saying during a meeting with the Association of Travel and Tourism in Iraq that "Iraqi Airways has got a loan of two billion dollars from a US bank to finance the purchase of modern aircraft type 777 and Dremliner ". He added that "these aircraft will add advanced and supportive capabilities to the company in addition to the work on the completion of four halls of Baghdad Airport, which will increase the absorption of the largest number of passengers during the first half of 2015, where the number reached a million passengers" ./ end
