Derasat chairman receives Bahraini ambassadors to Belgium, Russia

Manama, Sept. 7 (BNA): Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) Khalid Ibrahim Al-Fadala received here today Head of Bahrain's Diplomatic Mission to the Kingdom of Belgium Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi and Head of the Bahraini Diplomatic Mission to the Russian Federation Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati. Al-Fadala congratulated the newly-appointed ambassadors on the Royal trust bestowed upon them, wishing the ambassadors every success assuming their diplomatic assignment. He stressed the significant role played by ambassadors at achieving the goals of Bahrain's public policy, highlighting its international status, supporting areas of cooperation among various countries so as to consolidate relations at all levels, as well as serving the Bahraini citizens abroad. They explored opportunities to benefit from the Belgian and Russian studies centers, especially those dealing with the Arabian Gulf and Middle East and the importance of participating in intellectual events and forums. Al-Fadala reviewed ways to develop joint cooperation between Derasat and Belgian and Russian studies centers, especially those dealing with strategic studies and energy in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East.
