Four Asians arrested for drug trafficking

, Sept. 7 (BNA): Four Asians have been arrested by the Anti-Drug Police Directorate with nearly 2 kg of heroin, worth BD200,000, in their possession, the General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced. He added that the suspects were identified and arrested after a warrant had been issued by the Public Prosecution. Preliminary investigations showed that the suspects had the drug in their possession with the intention to sell it across Bahrain. The narcotics and tools used in drug trafficking were also confiscated. The General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science said legal procedures had been completed and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
