Northern governor pays homage to Bahraini, UAE martyrs

Manama, Sept. 5 (BNA): Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Sheikh Abdul Hussain Al-Asfoor has affirmed that the Arab and Islamic nations, particularly the GCC and Middle East region, are facing dangerous challenges at all levels. He stressed that defending the Nation and countries through sacrificing lives is the real evidence of patriotism, which, he said, was embodied by the martyrdom of the brave Bahrain and UAE soldiers while participating in the military operations within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition. The governor extended sincere condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the UAE leadership and the families of the brave martyrs, as well as the Bahraini, UAE and all GCC peoples. He affirmed that the martyrdom of the brave Bahraini soldiers is a source of honour, adding that their sacrifices will be recorded in history. He prayed to Allah Almighty to protect Bahrain, GCC countries and Arab and Islamic countries and bless them with lasting peace, progress and prosperity.
