PM: Economizing expenses important to maintain budget level

SANA'A, Dec. 29 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar has said that the decision to
economize expenses which was taken by the government is important to help maintain
the level of the public budget to face impacts of the international financial crisis
and the decrease of oil prices in order to avoid resorting to foreign debts.

In an interview with the Al-Mithaq Paper, PM noted that this decision is liable to
revision and amendment every 3 months in the light of improvement of the flow of
revenues.

He noted that this decision comes to cope with the big changes in crude oil prices
which the state budget mostly depends on at 75%.

Mujawar also spoke over the overall programs, policies and procedures taken by the
government to encounter the economic challenges in particular.
