Speaker meets Kuwaiti, Omani counterparts

York, Sept. 2 (BNA): Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla received the Kuwaiti National Assembly's Speaker Marzouk Ali Al Ghanim; and, Omani Shura Council's Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma'wali, who exchanged viewpoints on various matters of common interest and coordination of stances. Al Mulla said the trilateral meeting which comes on the sidelines of the Fourth Meeting of Heads of World Parliaments currently convened in New York, was opportunity to explore bilateral ties, affirming the deep fraternal bonds between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States that contribute into the pan-GCC parliamentary cooperation. The proposed final communiqué to be issued in conclusion of the Fourth Meeting of Heads of World Parliaments in addition to latest Arab and Islamic developments were discussed by the three speakers during their meeting.
