Energy minister receives MP

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): Minister of Energy Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received here today MP Jalal Khadim Al-Mahmood. The minister affirmed his personal follow-up on the MPs and citizens issues, complaints and needs. They reviewed the needs of Duraz and Bani Jamra’s residents, as the minister voiced the readiness of the officials at Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) to address these needs. MP Al-Mahmood expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister and emphesised his readiness to cooperate with the executive branch in order to provide the best services for the citizens. He praised the efforts exerted by the minister and energy sector’s affiliates to overcome all the obstacles faced by citizens. The meeting was attended by EWA Acting CEO Adnan Mohammad Fakhro, Electricity Distribution Director Ali Nematallah.
