SCW issues booklet on women's military achievements

Manama, Aug. 25 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has issued a documentary booklet about the events of Bahraini Women's Day 2014, which celebrated women in the military field'. The booklet included texts and photos about the event of Bahraini Women’s Day and names of female pioneers in Bahrain's. It offered information about "Military Women-Thumbprint and Achievements" exhibition, which was aimed at introducing the military women’s march and achievements to the citizens and residents as well as a series of awareness workshops held at girls’ schools in various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, organised by the SCW in collaboration with the Ministries of Interior and Education. The booklet issuance comes within the SCW’s terms of reference of publishing printed bulletins and magazines and electronic materials related to the SCW’s objectives.
