HRH Premier urges stronger cooperation to maintain security

Manama, Aug. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa underlined the need for collective cooperation and more efforts to boost regional security and stability amid current challenges.
HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today outgoing Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the US 5th Fleet Admiral John Miller and his successor Admiral Kevin Donegan.
The meeting was attended by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed the need for a comprehensive global vision regarding peace, pointing out the repercussions of undermining security in one country on the rest of the world. He urged stronger cooperation at this crucial time to maintain regional stability.
HRH the Premier lauded strong relations of friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the USA and both countries’ keenness to bolster them mainly in the military field. He also emphasised Bahrain’s keenness to take part effectively alongside the international community in maintaining security, calling to focus efforts on preserving regional stability given its strategic importance for the global one.
