New publications for sports federations printed

Manama, Aug. 25 (BNA): The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) recently issued new publications on the national sports federation’s unifiedstatute, financial affairs bylaw and overseas participation. BOC Media, Public Relations and Marketing director Mohammed Lori said the initiative to print all three publications is part of the committee’s commitment to provide updated publications, which are related to sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He added that printing of the three publicationswere made after amendments approved by the General Assembly of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and adopted by its board of directors, led by representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Lori added that those publications represent a reference for all sports federations, which follow the regulations and laws in an attempt to develop its performance in the administrative field. He noted that the BOC would soon be distributing copies of these publications on to the sports federations to keep them updated on the rules and regulations.
