Ajman’s first ‘Green’ building launched
Modern Life Properties, a joint venture partnership company, in conjunction with Indiana Real Estate, unveiled The Habitat — the first ‘green’ building in Ajman, at a gala event held recently at the spectacular Grand Hyatt Gardens according to a report in “Khaleej Times”.
“The Habitat is a landmark project that perfectly combines the socially responsible and the financially logical elements that have become all the more important to the end-user in recent times,” said Nizar Al Zaidi of Modern Life Properties, a joint venture between Zaidi and India-based leading realtor Deepak Pranjivan Bosmiya of Rashmi Housing Pvt. Ltd.
“According to a recent UAE census, more than 1 million expatriates currently live and work in Ajman and Sharjah. These numbers are indicative of the Emirates’ steady movement towards a homogenous society,” he added. Some salient features of the 45-storey building include use of recycled and environmental-friendly building materials, efficient use of water and water recycling, a building management system to control the flow of carbon dioxide and maintain optimum indoor air quality, and an air-conditioning system with 24 variables.
